Jonathan Johnson had the idea over 15 years ago when he crafted wedding rings for the guitarist of his then blues-punk band "Briegel". After the highly polished precious objects were cleaned, he couldn't help but "grind" them on the curb like brand-new Vans shoes to fuse the authenticity of the street, of the asphalt, with the unconditional freedom and risk of the moment into a unique amalgam!
